Sentyrz Supermarket has been a part of Northeast Minneapolis since 1923. While other stores might come and go, getting bought out by national chains or bulldozed to build condominiums, Sentyrz Market proudly stands in the same spot it always has.

Sentyrz Supermarket is unique in many ways. We have a rare "grandfathered" license, dating to the end of Prohibition in 1934, that allows us to sell wine, beer, spirits and a full line of groceries (meat, produce, dairy, staples and supplies). We have a world class meat market and an exceptional selection of beer, wine and spirits. And since we are now owned and operated by the 3rd generation, we like to say that we're literally grandfathered-in.
